Reality Check: Iraq

As we approach the Sept. 15th deadline for the report on Iraq, it is appearent there will be nothing but obfuscation.  Prime minister Al-Maliki says America doesn’t pay homage to the accomplishments of the Iraqi’s, like ending the sectarian violence!  Dubya, on the other hand, thinks things are getting better; while the GAO says Iraq may not have enough electricity until 2015.  Don’t you think these guys should qiut drinking the magic koolaid?

The only viable solution is for Iraq to be partitioned into three semi-autonomous sections, as proposed by senator Biden.  Because of the way Iraq was cobbled together as a country, they lack a strong national cohesiveness.  The U.N. should be the primary force behind the partitioning and peacekeeping duties.  Oops!  I’m sorry, I forgot this is Dubya’s war and he pissed off the U.N. early on.
